Congratulations, Clayton!

The Maine Resource Recovery Association (MRRA) selected CLYNK CEO, Clayton Kyle, as the 2018 Maine Recycling and Solid Waste Sustainable Business Leader of the Year. The MRRA specifically created this distinguished award to honor the success Clayton has achieved throughout his career as an innovator in the field of environmental sustainability and recycling.

The distinction was presented on Monday, April 23rd at the 25th Annual Maine Recycling and Solid Waste Conference and Trade Show awards banquet held at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. The theme of this year’s conference was “betting on innovation,” to celebrate those who see opportunity and change as an impetus for progress.

“After 25 years of conferences, MRRA has seen a lot of things change in the recycling and solid waste industry,” said MRRA President, Ross Nason. “Clayton Kyle exemplifies the idea of ‘betting on innovation.’ Clayton is not set in his ways. He embraces fresh ideas and direction. He is constantly learning, questioning, and refining his perspective on CLYNK’s future options.”

Clayton, the “Head Recycler” of CLYNK, as Nason put it, “is the dedicated and ever-present force behind the CLYNK recycling movement. CLYNK’s success has been a labor of love for Clayton since inception. He is ‘big picture,’ knowing more about the industry and its trends than anyone around him, and deep in the weeds — he can connect the dots in operational details quickly and insightfully without fail.”

On behalf of the entire CLYNK team: way to go, Clayton!
