CLYNK is the easy and convenient way to redeem bottles and cans at Hannaford Supermarkets. It is the only bottle redemption system that allows you to create a personal account, accumulate a balance and use your money at your discretion. Instead of feeding a reverse vending machine, one bottle and can at a time, CLYNK is a drop and go service for bottle redemption. Simply fill your green CLYNK bag, tag it and drop it off at your local Hannaford. Plus, you can donate funds to local charities and track the environmental impact of your recycling with CLYNK.
New accounts receive a valuable coupon for $5 off a purchase of $30 or more good to use at Hannaford Supermarkets through the end of 2017. Online account signups will be a mailed their coupon, CLYNK card, first 10 bag tags and a voucher for a free box of bags that is redeemable at any local Hannaford with CLYNK. You can also sign-up for CLYNK at any participating Hannaford by following the instructions at the CLYNK kiosk. To print your coupon at the CLYNK kiosk you need to scan your CLYNK card, enter your pin number and select the “My Coupons” tab. Select the “$5 Off Coupon” and press print.

How CLYNK Works
Bag it: Fill a CLYNK bag with redeemable bottles and cans. Tag it: Adhere your bag tag to the CLYNK bag. The bag tag identifies the account that will receive credit for the bag being dropped. Drop it: Drop the bag off at a participating Hannaford. Done: Scan each bag tag at the CLYNK drop door, open the door, drop the CLYNK bag(s) in, close the door and you are done. Your bottles and cans will be sent to CLYNK to be counted and a credit will be applied to your CLYNK account in 2 business days.
Getting your money: When you go to the CLYNK kiosk inside a participating Hannaford, scan your CLYNK card and enter your PIN. You will be able to check your balance or print out a payment slip. Payment slips can be cashed at any Hannaford for cash or slips can be put towards groceries.
How to Sign Up
Signing up for CLYNK is easy. You can sign-up at clynk.com or at the CLYNK kiosk in your local participating Hannaford. To create a CLYNK account you just need to provide your name, one point of contact like a phone number or email, and then you create a pin number and answer a security question.
When you sign up you get everything you need to start CLYNKing right away and for free. You get your CLYNK card, your first 10 bags and tags. Plus, through the end of 2017, you get a valuable coupon to Hannaford Supermarkets for $5 off a purchase of $30 or more. After you use your first 10 free bags, you purchase more at Hannaford. A box of 10 bags is $1.75 plus tax. Bag tags always print for free from the CLYNK kiosk inside your local Hannaford.

Environmental Impact – CLYNK’s unique database lets you track your personal environmental impact every time you drop a bag at CLYNK.
Hannaford Community Cash – The Hannaford Community Cash program, powered by CLYNK, is a fundraising tool for booster groups, charities, civic organizations and school groups. The program allows organizations to run a bottle drive, virtually year-round, without much effort. Hannaford Community Cash partners are able to receive electronic donations from other CLYNK account holders through the CLYNK website.
Charitable Donations – When you register your CLYNK card on-line you can donate funds from your CLYNK account to charitable organizations that have a Hannaford Community Cash fundraising account powered by CLYNK.
